A press source revealed the reason behind the stabbing incident of Munir Al-Nasrawi, the father of Lamine Yamal, the star of the first football team at Barcelona Club, in a parking lot in the Spanish city, by a group of young people
Following this incident, Al-Nasrawi was transferred to the hospital in critical condition, but doctors were able to control the situation in the end, while Barcelona police were able to arrest some suspects
According to journalist Angel Moya, witnesses to the incident confirmed that the group that stabbed Al-Nasrawi was angry at Lamine Yamal’s choice to represent the Spanish national team instead of the Moroccan national team
He said: “There are no cameras in the parking lot where the incident took place or anything similar, only Yamal’s father knows who stabbed him, and he had previously entered into some kind of discussion or confrontation”
He continued: “The witnesses told Barcelona police that it was not the first time, and that the attackers accuse Al-Nasrawi of being behind Yamal playing for Spain instead of Morocco”
