Ander Herrera, midfielder of Paris Saint-Germain, praised Real Madrid’s new deal, Aurelien Chuamini, from Monaco
Herrera said, on Spanish radio station Cadena Cope, “I am very impressed with Chuamini’s capabilities, as he is a distinguished player. Real Madrid certainly plays in a different style, but he is able to adapt and perform the tasks of a defensive midfielder”
The Spaniard added: “I think that Chuamini represents a mixture of Casemiro, Modric and Kroos. He will give Real Madrid great strength in the midfield”
Regarding his future, he said: “The French press likes to talk a lot about PSG, in pursuit of more sales… Every season they talk about the possibility of my departure, but I stay with the team, and nothing changes”
He stressed, “I’m happy, and I want to stay in Saint-Germain… But in football, you can’t guarantee anything 100 percent”
Regarding his colleague Kylian Mbappe, Herrera said: “If Mbappe left Paris, I would not have been surprised by that But his quest to be the best player in the club’s history, and the historical scorer of Saint-Germain, represents a great motivation”
And he added: “I understand how great Real Madrid is… But the desire of the Parisian boy, who wants to leave a historical mark with his club, must also be respected”
He concluded by saying about the new season: “Our main goal is to continue to dominate the French titles, and of course the dream of winning the Champions League .. But making the dream mandatory would be unfair”
