Real Madrid’s Marco Asensio has received an offer from a Premier League club
Asensio has already been linked to several Premier League clubs, led by Arsenal and Liverpool
But Newcastle have now made an offer of 24 million pounds for the Spanish international, according to the British newspaper “The Sun”, quoting “Mediafoot”
Asensio is allegedly one of 4 players Real Madrid want to get rid of this summer, along with Mariano Diaz, Dani Ceballos and Borja
And while Asensio is most likely to leave first after attracting admiration from the Premier League, however, Real Madrid and Newcastle’s ratings for the value of the deal are mixed
Reports suggest that Real Madrid want £30m to part with Asensio, which is £6m more than what Newcastle are currently offering
Discussions between the two clubs are said to be ongoing over a possible transfer, and Asensio’s current contract expires at the end of next season, meaning he can leave for free within 12 months
Real Madrid has rejected an offer by a Premier League club to buy its winger Marco Asensio in the summer transfer window
Asensio’s contract with Real Madrid expires next summer on June 30, 2023, and the Spanish international has not yet reached an agreement for the renewal
According to the Spanish newspaper, Mundo Deportivo, Newcastle United made an offer to Real Madrid of 28 million euros to buy Asensio
It is claimed that Asensio himself would prefer to terminate his contract at the Bernabeu and not leave next summer
Asensio was offered a new deal by Real Madrid, but he missed the June 30 deadline to put pen to paper because he wanted a wage increase
