Spanish media revealed new details regarding the possible transfer of Robert Lewandowski from Bayern Munich to Barcelona
The Catalan newspaper “Sport” confirmed that the Polish striker has settled on the idea of moving to Barca since last April
She explained that Lewandowski and his wife had made several contacts over the past few months in preparation for moving to Barcelona, such as accommodation, schools and other private matters
She added: “Lewandowski wants to leave very few things to chance in this new phase, and Robert and his wife have made two visits to Barcelona to make decisions about his new home”
And she concluded: “These details support the allegations that Barcelona’s negotiations with Lewandowski have been in the works for months and with the approval of the Polish striker, who is very excited about the last major professional challenge in his long football career”
Lewandowski’s contract with Bayern Munich expires in the summer of 2023, and he is waiting for the Bavarian giant to respond to his declared desire to move to Barcelona this summer
