Arsenal are in the race to sign a prominent player in Real Madrid, during the current summer Mercato.
And the British newspaper, “Daily Mail”, reported that Arsenal is the latest club to announce its interest in Marco Asensio, the Real Madrid winger, who opened the door to his departure from Real Madrid this summer
Asensio’s contract with Real Madrid expires in the summer of 2023, and he has not yet agreed to a renewal offer with Real Madrid
The Spanish newspaper indicated that Arsenal recently contacted Asensio’s representatives to inquire about his conditions, which are not currently met by Real Madrid
She explained that Arsenal’s absence in the Champions League next season makes moving to the Emirates Stadium less tempting for the Spanish star, but it does not spoil the deal
She stated that Asensio wanted a guarantee that he would participate in matches on a regular basis with his new club
