Italian reports revealed today, Wednesday, that the Spanish club Real Madrid is ready to offer up to 120 million euros to include AC Milan star Rafael Leao, after the French international, Kylian Mbappe, the Paris Saint-Germain striker, refused to move to the Santiago Bernabeu.
And the local (Football Italy) website indicated that the contract of the Portuguese international, Rafael Leao, the team’s top scorer, expires in June 2024, but his club has been working for several months on a new deal that will last until 2026.
The newspaper revealed the value of the financial deal, and indicated that, in addition to the financial return, Real Madrid will offer the Milan administration the services of its Serbian international striker Luka Jovic.
The Portuguese star was named the best player in the Italian league for the year 2021-2022, after he played a key role in Milan’s victory in the title with 11 goals and 10 assists in 34 Serie A matches.
Real Madrid believes that the Kylian Mbappe deal can be compensated by contracting with Leao, as the Portuguese striker has similar qualities to the French player who was very close to joining, before he officially announced the renewal of his contract with Paris Saint-Germain.
