Real Madrid began its celebrations of winning the European Champions League title, after beating Liverpool with a goal without a response, yesterday evening, Saturday, in the French capital, Paris.
“It is a tremendous happiness to realize what I experienced yesterday, but we will live more than that today in Cibeles Square,” Carvajal said during the celebrations, during comments reported by the Spanish newspaper, Mundo Deportivo.
He added: “The fans must be thanked, because this year their role was greater than ever. They were the twelfth player, especially when we played the remontada in more than one match.”
Real Madrid won the Champions League for the fourteenth time in its history, as the club with the most title in the history of the competition.
