Eric Ten Hag, the Dutch new coach of Manchester United, is contacting the administration to complete the Barcelina star’s deal, Frenkie de Jong.
Several reports claimed that Ten Hag asked the Manchester United management to settle the De Jong deal.
Fabrizio Romano wrote on his Twitter account: “Franke de Jong sees the participation in the Champions League as a priority in determining his future.” And the Red Devils failed to reserve a seat for the Champions League next season.
Romano added: “De Jong will be happy to stay with Barcelona, especially since coach Xavi Hernandez is asking for his continuation, but his fate depends on the offers he will receive.”
Eventually, the transfer expert ended saying: “Manchester United will try to settle the deal again, through Ten Hag who is convincing his former player (De Jong). Reports said that Barcelona may have to sell de Jong in the summer Mercato for economic reasons.
