Manchester United has raised its offer to Barcelona to sign Dutch midfielder Frenkie de Jong, the Catalan team’s midfielder, during the current summer transfer market
And Fabrizio Romano, through his personal account on the social networking site “Twitter”, posted: “Manchester United are always in direct contact with Barcelona, and the current offer that the two clubs are discussing is worth about 65 million euros”
He added: “The current offer was made after Barcelona rejected the previous offer of 60 million euros”
He concluded: “So far, there has been no change on the part of the player and his agents”
Barcelona had signed De Jong in 2019, coming from Ajax Amsterdam, for 75 million euros, in addition to 11 million as variables
