“In general, 2022 was a good year, talking only about me, and Xavi changed things that affect the team’s defensive work, and this is in my favour, of course,” Ter Stegen said, during comments reported by the Spanish newspaper, Mundo Deportivo
“I’m happy with the current way of playing, and we have to keep working like that,” he added
“Xavi has very clear ideas about how to play, and what he’s asking of us is something we’ve stopped doing in recent years”
With this victory, Barcelona raised its score to the 10th point in the La Liga standings, and Seville’s balance freezes at a single point in 17th place
