Javier Tebas has returned to his post to celebrate the centenary of the Ponferadina Athletic Association. The La Liga president remains furious over the multi-million dollar renewal of Kylian Mbappe by his club, Paris Saint-Germain.
What is more, Tebas is determined to take the “match” to court: “We are working with a French law firm to start legal proceedings in France and in the European Union. We will also inform UEFA before Friday.”
The La Liga president was frank after Mbappe refused to sign for Real Madrid. “It is impossible for Paris Saint-Germain to comply with the “Fair Play Financial” and with those who did not follow the rules of play with the renewal of Mbappe’s contract. They are already known to have hacked Fair Play. Tebas once again attacked the “way of action” of Paris Saint-Germain and City.
“We have been fighting against such clubs for years,” he stressed. We already condemned Manchester City and Paris Saint-Germain 3-4 seasons ago and they were sanctioned by UEFA, but the penalty was lifted due to strange decisions I hope. This time, I’m really critical of it, and I don’t have to solve it.”
