Real Madrid’s Croatian midfielder Luka Modric said that he did not renew his contract with Real Madrid at the present time, indicating his desire to continue with the royal team.
Modric said, during his statements to the Spanish radio “Cobe”: “I did not renew my contract”.
He added: “But I will not do like Mbappe (laughs), and I hope the club will not do that to me.”
In the same context, the famous transfer expert, Fabrizio Romano, explained through his personal account on the social networking site “Twitter”: “Certainly there is no problem with Modric, and he will sign a new contract until the summer of 2023, but after the Champions League final.”
Modric’s contract expires at the end of the current season with Real Madrid, but the Croatian is still providing distinguished levels, which makes his continuation inevitable for the team next season.
